Delete your ShivraGreen account
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
This page explains how to permanently delete your ShivraGreen account (published by ShivraTech) and the data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
1. Delete your account from the app (fastest)
- Open the ShivraGreen app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Tap Delete my account and read the summary of what will be removed.
- Tap Email me a confirmation code — we send a 6-digit code to your registered email address.
- Enter the code and tap Permanently delete. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
The same option is available on the website at app.shivragreen.com/profile, under “Delete account”.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app or your registered email, write to us and we will delete your account for you:

Please include the mobile number registered on your account so we can identify it. We may ask you to confirm ownership of that number before deleting.
Email requests are actioned within 7 working days.
3. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your login (mobile number / authentication record)
- Your profile: name, email address and registered mobile number
- Your charging session history
- Your saved device and push-notification tokens
Any unused Energy Units in your wallet are forfeited and are not refundable on deletion. If you want to use or claim a balance, do so before deleting.
4. What is retained, and why
We retain payment and invoice records (order reference, amount, date and payment status) in anonymised form. Your name, email address and mobile number are stripped from these records so they can no longer be linked to you.
We keep these anonymised records because Indian tax and accounting law requires businesses to preserve financial records, and because our payment provider (Cashfree) independently retains transaction records for dispute and chargeback handling. They are held for the period required by applicable law and are not used for marketing or profiling.
5. Before you delete
- Stop any active charging session. For safety, an account cannot be deleted while a charging session is running — the charger relies on the live session record. End the session first, then delete.
- Download or note any receipts you may need; they will no longer be available to you.
6. Creating a new account later
You are welcome to sign up again with the same mobile number at any time. A new account starts fresh — no previous balance, history or receipts are restored.
